CORE EXPECTATIONS
Program Management:
- Aid in planning and executing programs to meet community needs and YMCA objectives.
- Comply and assist in all related areas including EEC licensing procedures and regulations, NAEYC criteria, DOE-CACFP/Quincy mandates, implementation of Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment Tool (Quincy), High Scope COR (Hanover), and alignment to MA Curriculum Frameworks/Common Core MA Standards.
- Provide reasonable accommodations to allow children with disabilities to participate in activities and meet individual needs according to EEC and ADA guidelines.
Membership Engagement & Development:
- Build relationships with and among families and members.
- Create a supportive community environment.
- Recruit and engage new families.
- Connect families to the YMCA’s cause.
Facility Management:
- Work with the Early Learning Director to ensure safety, cleanliness, adequate equipment, maintenance, and attractiveness of program facilities and equipment for children.
Volunteer Development:
- Engage and assist in supervising volunteers.
Community Involvement & Support:
- Assist in YMCA fund-raising activities/events.
- Engage in collaborative relationships with community organizations to strengthen, support, and build the community.

Qualifications
- Currently attending or High School graduate.
- Experience working with children preferred.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally required to: climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand for an extended period of time, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, have finger dexterity, grasp, perform repetitive motions, talk, hear, and have visual acuity.
- May require: climbing, running, swimming, and other outdoor activities.
- Assisting in diapering processes.
