Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a Childcare Teacher to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the following classrooms:

• Twos Assistant: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Classroom Support: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the position
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by state department guidelines
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
• Has the physical abilities to perform required job duties with or without accommodations
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, and understand state licensing regulations and company policies
• Positive and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work full-time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday) with flexible scheduling
• Passion for working with young children

Pay

$14.00–$14.70 per hour (based on experience)
