Assistant Swim Coach

Position Summary As an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach, you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will help our Swim Team members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. You will work with the Head Swim Team Coach to write and head Swim Team Group Workouts. You will help the Head Swim Team Coach register new participants for the Team and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities. Job Duties And Responsibilities Offers competitive swimmers the opportunity to master techniqueRuns daily practices under the direction of the head coachPromotes all Life Time products, services and programs Minimum Required Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Years of Experience: 1 year of swim coaching experienceMember of ASCAMember of USA SwimmingSuccessfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor CertificationAbility to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of timeAbility to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and servicesAbility to swim 25 yards/meters without stoppingAbility to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first). For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C. Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hireMust complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education.
