About the role
The Assistant Swim Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of swim team operations, including training sessions, meets, and competitions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing training sessions for swimmers
- Support the head coach in organizing and managing team logistics
- Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and other coaches
- Participate in team meetings and discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
- Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passion for swimming and working with young athletes
- Knowledge of swim techniques and rules
- Previous experience with swim team management
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
