About the role

Join us as an Ambassador and play an important part on our team, providing the highest level of guest service and helping guests create positive, lasting memories through great eating experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide and lead the team to deliver superior guest service with a positive attitude and can-do spirit
• Motivate and energize ambassadors regularly
• Open and close facilities in accordance with established procedures
• Provide menu and park information to guests
• Monitor equipment and report any problems to proper personnel
• Ensure meal and rest periods are provided to ambassadors as required by company policy
• Set up and monitor queue lines
• Record moneybag recaps and complete tasks on station task lists
• Monitor stations to ensure food looks pleasing and is portioned according to recipes
• Monitor temperature of food and equipment in accordance with the established HACCP plan and take appropriate action
• Supervise and train ambassadors
• Authorize ambassador over-rings
• Monitor food waste and educate ambassadors on waste procedures
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining ambassadors; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Represent the park enthusiastically by displaying a positive attitude and maintaining high energy and commitment to quality
• Prepare and serve food for park guests
• Clean facilities, operate kitchen equipment and cash registers, and assist with training and supervision of ambassadors
• Ensure excellent guest service by responding to guest requirements, expectations, and needs
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed

Requirements

• One to three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Successfully pass ServSafe exam prior to starting
• Able to pass Alcohol training upon selection
• Able to pass Food Handlers test and maintain a valid Food Handlers card
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel, stoop, crawl, or kneel
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (e.g., sunny, wet, and/or humid conditions)

Pay

$19.00 USD hourly
