Assistant Supervisor, 40 Hrs Weekly, 1st Shift + On-Call Rotation, Interactions

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Supervisor at Pine Rest, a leading non-profit behavioral health system in Michigan. This role involves providing comprehensive care to individuals with mental illness and developmental delays, fostering a safe and inclusive environment, and collaborating in the development of person-served programming.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe and secure environment for persons served and staff in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborates in day-to-day planning/development of person served programming and implementation of programs.
• Makes rounds to ensure personal care needs are met.
• Participates in safety management, crisis intervention, and prevention activities.
• Surveys, documents, and reports all safety repair and maintenance needs.
• Performs household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
• Documents all progress notes, medication administration, and any other relevant information.
• Makes random and scheduled drug tests and conducts searches of persons served and their belongings.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: Requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum of three months experience in related field.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, proficiency in electronic systems.

Pay

The equivalent base pay range for this position is $18.90 - $28.36. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.
