Assistant Superintendent

About the Role

Keeley Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for our Paving Group in Winter Haven, FL. This role supports field operations, project logistics, and safety while fostering strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising field crew members, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers, and oversee project operations.
• Help develop a project site logistics plan and collaborate with the project manager to determine construction methods and sequencing.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities to drive project schedules in accordance with planned work.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Communicate and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction challenges and improve methods.
• Inspect and verify the receipt or shipment of materials.
• Perform maintenance tasks from client work orders and complete onsite repairs.
• Provide service and customer assistance during site visits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience in paving/concrete.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
