Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of overall commercial construction project operations, people, and processes
- Apply vigilant cost containment, quality control, and risk management skills to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of assigned projects
- Create a safe work environment by ensuring full compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA regulations and Ironmark's Safety Program
- Ensure adherence to the schedule, expediting subcontractors and suppliers as required
- Supervise on-site construction activities in conjunction with the project Superintendent
- Develop schedules and coordinate trades
- Complete and oversee maintenance of all daily work documentation and other paperwork required, submitting all as required on a timely basis
- Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred
- Ability to work on-site at our project location in the Greater Minneapolis area
- Ability to understand local building codes/regulations to ensure compliance
- Knowledge of federal, state and local safety laws and regulations
- OSHA 30 certified (preferred)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrated background of working effectively with a wide range of workers in a diverse community
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications as well as use of Smart Phones and Tablets including taking and sending photographs, voice memos, accessing cloud-based document storage, communicating via email, adding and managing attachments
- Passionate about managing commercial construction projects and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective at focusing under pressure, smoothly managing tasks, change, and priorities

- Possess a sharp, continuous improvement mind and inner drive to succeed
- Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record along with reliable access to a vehicle
