Assistant Superintendent

Supervisory Duties

• Supervises various Amoroso trade employees
• Directs and coordinates subcontractor and Company field personnel in designated areas of expertise
• Manages changes in schedule, changes in scope, and monitors and reports delays to work
• Effectively measures quality and craftsmanship and directs employees to make changes, if necessary
• Plans and requisitions materials
• Promotes safety and site cleanliness on job site and implements, enforces, and effectively manages Amoroso’s safety policy and procedures
• Collaborates with Superintendent to manage labor and achieve productivity to meet time and cost targets

Qualifications

• BS. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or a related field preferred, or minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience
• Ability to understand and read drawings and specifications
• Makes decisions under tight deadlines
• Organizes people, tools, and equipment and manages multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)
