Assistant Studio Manager - Spring
About the role
The Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) works closely with the Studio Manager to ensure the front of the house operations run smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic-duo, positively influence the ultimate studio dream team, and represent the Orangetheory brand.
Responsibilities
- Greeting everyone who enters the studio with enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge
- Presenting the OTF concept to any interested consumers, also known as “intros”
- Working at the front desk which includes answering phones and talking to members among other tasks
- Working hand-in-hand with trainers to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout
- Selling memberships to help the studio thrive
- Finding and following up on prospective clients
- Handling members' concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
- Participating in marketing and outreach events
- Ensuring all areas of the studio are kept clean and organized
Requirements
- Passionate, positive, and detail-oriented personality
- Ability to talk to anyone
- Experience working in a fitness setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Orangetheory certification is preferred but not required
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to build relationships with members and staff
- Knowledge of Orangetheory’s fitness program
- Organizational and time management skills
