About the role
This is a floating position supporting multiple tend studios.
Responsibilities
- Support the Studio Manager in daily operations, including scheduling, inventory, and opening/closing routines.
- Manage front desk operations and lead the front desk team through interviewing, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Maintain a strong understanding of insurance, schedule management, and treatment planning to support studio performance.
- Deliver financial presentations and track results to help meet revenue goals.
- Partner with the Studio Manager and broader teams (member experience, revenue cycle) to support a seamless guest journey.
- Organize and lead specialty treatment days (orthodontics and oral surgery).
- Oversee ordering of supplies, including Amazon shipments, and manage studio inventory.
- Optimize provider scheduling to balance team efficiency and guest needs.
- Drive patient (member) retention through outreach and follow-ups for unscheduled treatment.
- Provide warm, consistent hospitality for every guest — whether in-studio, by phone, or by email.
- Collaborate with the entire clinical and non-clinical team to ensure high-quality guest and team experiences.
- Take initiative to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service management role (dental experience strongly preferred).
- Experience leading or coaching a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Comfort with scheduling systems, insurance processes, and treatment planning (or willingness to learn quickly).
- A proactive approach — you anticipate needs and take initiative.
- A passion for delivering outstanding hospitality and patient experiences.
Qualifications
- Ability to sit, stand, and move around the studio for extended periods while supporting front desk operations and studio needs.
- Manual dexterity and proficiency with office technology, including computer systems, phones, and point-of-sale tools.
- Adequate vision (with or without correction) to review schedules, financial presentations, reports, and other documentation.
- Able to bend, reach, and move throughout the studio to assist with daily operations such as tidying, organizing, and preparing the space.
- Occasional lifting or movement of supplies, packages, and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Able to communicate clearly and compassionately with guests, team members, and cross-functional partners both in person and through technology.

Pay
$66,000 USD - $70,000 USD
