Key Responsibilities
- Developing merchandising strategies
- Ensuring brand consistency
- Managing visual budgets
- Training and leading visual staff
- Analyzing sales data to adjust displays
Essential Functions
- Initiating and developing customer relationships
- Solving customer service and inventory issues
- Focusing on visual merchandising
- Maintaining and creating displays
- Coordinating and collaborating with Corporate team
- Overseeing store staff activities
- Motivating sales staff
- Managing shipments and distribution
- Restocking products
- Analyzing product and sales performance
- Maintaining store policies
- Maintaining merchandise displays and cleanliness
- Developing sell down strategies
- Implementing markdowns/promotions
- Communicating with Corporate Staff
- Assisting with special events
Requirements
- Required education and experience: HS diploma or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year in retail management or sales leadership, experience in retail soft lines, interiors, gifts, or accessories preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work 2 closing shifts per week, regular schedule of 2 Saturdays or Sundays per month, and special events
- Frequent standing, walking, and moving required
- Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds or more
