About the role
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding store operations and policies.
- Assists in the development and training of staff to ensure effective performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manages day-to-day operations to maximize sales and profitability.
- Ensures compliance with all store policies and procedures.
- Works closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies for guest services and inventory control.
- Oversees the set-up and tear-down of fixtures and equipment as needed.
- Manages the store's budget and expenses to maintain financial integrity.
- Monitors and controls shrinkage to minimize losses.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
- A flexible schedule is required.
- Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
- Prior retail management experience is required.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay
