About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. They are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store
  • Serves as a point person for the Store Manager in managing day-to-day operations
  • Ensures maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement is 18
  • Prior retail management experience is required
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $17.92 - $18.17 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
