Assistant Store Manager - Spirit

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. They are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store
• Serves as a point person for the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store
• Ensures maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• A flexible schedule is required
• Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience is required

Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with store operations and merchandising

Pay

The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 - $18.25 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The position requires a flexible schedule that may include extended hours during peak seasons.
