Assistant Store Manager - Spirit

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store
• Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding store operations and policies
• Assists in the development and training of staff
• Ensures compliance with store policies and procedures
• Manages day-to-day operations to ensure profitability and guest satisfaction
• Oversees the maintenance of merchandise displays and inventory levels
• Controls expenses, shrinkage, and other operational costs
• Collaborates with the Store Manager on marketing strategies and promotions
• Handles customer inquiries and complaints
• Participates in store meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
• Flexible schedule to accommodate store operations
• Prior retail management experience required
• Ability to work extended hours, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 - $17.25 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
