Assistant Store Manager - Spirit

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. They are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store
• Serves as a point of contact for guests and employees, ensuring a positive guest experience
• Develops and trains staff to ensure effective performance and customer satisfaction
• Manages inventory levels, controls shrinkage and optimizes profitability
• Ensures compliance with store policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
• Collaborates with other departments to achieve store goals and objectives

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
• A flexible schedule is required
• Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience is required
