Assistant Store Manager - Spirit

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
• Serves as a point of contact for guests, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Develops and trains staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with store policies and procedures, including guest safety and security.
• Manages day-to-day operations, including inventory control, expense management, and shrinkage prevention.
• Collaborates with other departments to achieve store goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• A flexible schedule is required due to the nature of the job.
• Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
• Prior retail management experience is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Knowledge of retail operations, including guest services, merchandising, and inventory control.

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 - $17.25 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
