About the role
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. They are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding questions about store operations and policies.
- Assists in the development and training of staff to ensure effective performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manages day-to-day operations including managing inventory levels, controlling expenses, and minimizing shrinkage.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Works closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
- Flexible schedule is necessary due to the physical demands of the job which include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
Hourly rate ranges from $17.92 - $18.17 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
