Assistant Store Manager - Spirit

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
• Serves as a point of contact for employees and guests, addressing concerns and providing support.
• Assists in the development and training of staff to ensure effective performance and guest satisfaction.
• Manages day-to-day operations to maximize profitability and minimize costs.
• Ensures compliance with store policies and procedures, and maintains a safe working environment.
• Oversees the implementation and execution of marketing and promotional activities.
• Monitors and controls expenses, shrinkage, and inventory levels to maintain financial health.
• Collaborates with other departments to achieve store goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• A flexible schedule is required.
• Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
• Prior retail management experience is required.

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 - $17.25 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
