Assistant Store Manager - Spirit

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. They are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
• Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding questions about store operations.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assists in the development and training of staff.
• Manages inventory levels and controls shrinkage.
• Oversees guest services and customer satisfaction.
• Monitors and manages expenses within budgetary guidelines.
• Participates in store planning and execution of seasonal events.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• Prior retail management experience is required.
• A flexible schedule is necessary due to the physical demands of the job.
• Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $19.05 - $19.30 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
