About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of a Seasonal Store. This role ensures maximum sales and profitability by maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and overseeing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overall store operations.
• Assist with staffing, setup, and teardown of the seasonal store.
• Maintain Guest Services standards.
• Develop and manage store staff.
• Control expenses and minimize shrinkage.
• Oversee merchandising and inventory control.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18.
• Flexible schedule.
• Prior retail management experience.

Physical demands

• 8+ hours of standing and walking daily.
• Climbing ladders and setting up fixtures.
• Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
