About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing the team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise associates, plan daily activities to enhance customer experiences, ensure brand standards are met, and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Engage and develop the team, recruit new hires, coach and counsel associates, and maintain positive relationships with peers and management.
30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and adhere to safety protocols.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and analyze reports for compliance.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
