About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking on primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Responsibilities

• Brands: Supervise and support associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences that maximize sales and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and manage associates, addressing their strengths and opportunities. Maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Operations: Manage store processes, including inventory, payroll, and store operations. Ensure adherence to company guidelines and execute digital strategies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• At least 3+ years of retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year of prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
