Assistant Store Manager PT

Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, selling fan and fashion-oriented headwear and apparel across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia. We operate 1,200+ domestic locations and 50+ international stores, including specialty concept stores for the NBA, NHL, Paris Saint-Germain, and numerous MLB teams. Responsibilities

• Generate sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
• Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
• Provide consistent, documented appraisals of associate sales performance and give feedback on areas of strength and opportunity.
• Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Company's Dress Code Policy.
• Control expenses by protecting Company assets, preparing store schedules, managing inventory, and adhering to LIDS Retail policies.
• Supervise associates by participating in training programs, assisting in recruitment and training, encouraging compliance with company policies, and communicating with employees at all levels.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing losses.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
• Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

• Earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience.
• Available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
