Assistant Store Manager (Newbury Street)

About the Role

As the Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for contributing to the store's performance including talent initiatives, operational execution, visual standards, and customer experience. Ideal candidates are individuals who are motivated, adaptable to change, coachable, and have a passion for our brand.

Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership
  • Support overall store performance and KPIs
  • Serve as brand ambassador by showing passion for the brand, educating customers on our history, and demonstrating product and industry knowledge
  • Create effective action plans to maintain or improve performance
  • Build new and repeat business through customer clienteling
• Training + Development
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and developing both internal and external talent
  • Communicate effectively to energize and encourage team collaboration
  • Lead through collaboration, fostering accountability and trust
  • Clearly communicate new initiatives and goals in a timely and effective manner
• Customer Service
  • Provide the best customer experience to purchasing and non-purchasing customers
  • Lead by example in setting the tone for team presentation and in-store behavior
  • Coach the team on return policies while prioritizing customer experience
  • Respond professionally to customer complaints and concerns with a resolution-oriented approach
  • Lead execution of brand visual standards and updates
• Operations
  • Execute daily store operations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Schedule team members according to business needs and budget
  • Manage store inventory with a high level of detail and organization per SOPs
  • Lead opening and closing duties

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a retail leadership position
• Must be over the age of 18
• Ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours per shift
• Flexibility to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
• Ability to work full-time hours with open availability

Pay

Hourly wage starts from $25 - $27 per hour, with commission and bonus opportunities.
