Assistant Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview: The Assistant Store Manager supports store operations with a customer-first approach, assisting with employee supervision, merchandise management, and store maintenance. They perform stocking, cashiering, and ensure profitability while safeguarding assets. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service and operate cash registers.Assist with employee scheduling, training, and safety meetings.Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, and display according to planograms.Maintain accurate inventory and control damages and markdowns.Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash handling procedures.Support store management during the Store Manager's absence. Qualifications & Skills Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to interpret safety and operational procedures.Competency in cash handling, report generation, and basic math.Knowledge of security policies and vehicle use for deposits. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.At least one year in retail and six months supervisory experience preferred. Working Conditions: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 55 pounds). Occasional climbing, exposure to outside weather, and driving are required in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
