Assistant Store Manager Chicago - LuxuryUp to $80,000 + BonusPlaza Del Lago, ChicagoPermanentThe RoleA luxury fashion brand is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager at its Plaza Del Lago location in Chicago. The role will support the day-to-day operation of the store while helping to deliver a premium, highly personalised customer experience.The Assistant Store Manager will play an important role in clienteling, developing long-term customer relationships and supporting sales growth. The position will also involve leading and motivating the store team, supporting training and maintaining high operational and service standards.Key Responsibilities Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, including opening and closing procedures.Support visual merchandising, inventory management and overall store presentation.Deliver a premium customer experience through strong product knowledge, styling advice and personalised service.Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through clienteling and personal shopping.Support efforts to develop the store's client base and increase high-value customer traffic.Lead, motivate and support store team members to maintain high standards of service and performance.Assist with team scheduling and training where required.Manage point-of-sale activities and support accurate store procedures.Monitor store performance and support the achievement of sales targets.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout the store.Follow appropriate loss-prevention procedures.Work closely with store leadership to drive sales, customer loyalty and operational efficiency. About You Previous experience in Store Management, Assistant Store Management or retail leadership.Previous experience within fashion or specialty retail is essential; luxury retail experience is highly desirable.Strong customer-facing skills, with proven experience in personal shopping and clienteling.A genuine passion for product, fashion and styling.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues.Proven ability to supervise, motivate and support a retail team.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Comfortable using POS systems and basic retail analytics; Shopify experience is an advantage.Customer-focused, commercially aware and committed to delivering high standards of service.Able to work full-time on-site, including weekends and occasional evenings for events.
