Sales Leadership & Results

  • Lead by example on the sales floor, consistently delivering elevated service and strong personal selling results
  • Drive store performance across key KPIs including Sales, SPH, ADS, UPT, Conversion, and Event Performance
  • Support execution of daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans to achieve or exceed plan and LY results
  • Coach associates in selling behaviors such as clienteling, add-on selling, and confident product storytelling
  • Actively participate in events, activations, and promotional moments to maximize traffic and conversion

Team Leadership & Development

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of a results-driven sales team
  • Coach in real time on the sales floor through observation, feedback, and role modeling
  • Hold associates accountable to performance expectations, behaviors, and brand standards
  • Aid in performance documentation, goal setting, and development plans
  • Foster a positive, motivated, and accountable team culture

Operational Excellence

  • Support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and reporting
  • Ensure store standards are consistently upheld (visuals, cleanliness, merchandising, and safety)
  • Partner with the Store Manager on inventory management, transfer orders, cycle counts, and shrink prevention
  • Help manage schedules to support traffic, events, and productivity goals
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed

Customer Experience

  • Deliver and reinforce Uncommon James’ elevated, girlfriend-style service
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and in alignment with brand standards
  • Build genuine relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business
  • Ensure every guest feels welcomed, supported, and confident in their purchase

Visual Merchandising & Events

  • Maintain visual standards and ensure product is displayed in a clean, elevated, and on-brand manner
  • Support execution of visual floorsets, launches, and merchandising updates
  • Assist in planning and executing weekly in-store events, partnerships, and local activations

Leadership Coverage

  • Act as Store Manager in their absence and confidently lead all aspects of the business
  • Serve as a future talent pipeline for the Store Manager role
