Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager who enjoys cultivating a positive culture, leading team development, and maximizing operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and Profitability – Attain sales and profitability goals through short and long-term strategic planning, expense management, and inventory control.
• Leadership and Development – Assume a leadership role by ensuring effective store communication, morale awareness, staff development, and implementation of selling priorities.
• Team Motivation and Store Environment – Maintain a store environment that fosters individual and team motivation, initiative, and a positive attitude to achieve company objectives.
• Operational Strategy – Develop and execute day-to-day store operations, delegate responsibilities, and assign work effectively.
• Budget and Policy Adherence – Work with the store operations manager and corporate office to ensure expenses are within budget and all corporate policies and procedures are followed.
• Customer Service – Ensure consistent high standards of customer service through effective staff planning, training monitoring, timely setup of special sales events, and resolving customer inquiries and issues professionally.
• Operational Standards – Maintain store standards, including visual presentation, security/shortage control, safety and compliance, inventory control, store maintenance, in-store administration, and procurements.

Requirements

• Proven track record of success in retail sales, specifically within the automotive sector, coupled with demonstrated expertise in providing exceptional customer service.
• Highly disciplined and self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving store objectives and maintaining operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, lead and motivate teams, prioritize tasks, and maintain meticulous organizational systems.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aftermarket accessory knowledge.
• Experience with the Netsuite platform.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM (no weekends).
