Assistant Store Manager
Overview
The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking Assistant Store Managers who can lead a team of Health Enthusiasts in promoting lifelong wellness. Ideal candidates should have a passion for the health and wellness industry and be committed to fostering a supportive and educational work environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as a direct support to the Store Manager, executing with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting team members.
- Assist with recruiting and developing top talent.
- Foster external and community relationships to enhance sales.
- Lead with integrity and take responsibility for actions.
- Foster an environment of continuous education and support company-driven training initiatives.
- Participate in continuous learning activities.
- Maintain regular store maintenance, adhere to loss prevention standards, process receipts promptly, and ensure shelves are stocked and prices are correct.
- Be willing to perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience/instruction.
- The desire to work a flexible schedule (Holidays, weekends, locations).
- Valid driver’s license.
- 3-5 years of retail experience.
- Retail management experience preferred.

Compensation
The wage for this position is based on various factors including role requirements, skill set, years of experience, and organizational needs. The estimated range is $22.75 - $24.50 per hour.
