Overview
We are looking for a purpose-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our expanding team and become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. In this role, you will be charged with creating a highly productive environment focusing on building a motivated team, ensuring an extraordinary guest experience, and balancing other corporate priorities, focusing on strategic, operational, and leadership excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create a highly productive environment focusing on building a motivated team, ensuring an extraordinary guest experience, and balancing other corporate priorities.
- Provide an exceptional guest experience throughout our guest's visit.
- Discover and respond to guest needs.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work independently and work cross-functionally.
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
- Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
- Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and partner with Store Manager to address accordingly.
- Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times; ensure all Team Members are in compliance as well.
- Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
- Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
- Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards.
- Absorb and implement local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to your community.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
