Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the overall operation of the store with a customer-first focus, assisting in supervision, merchandise management, and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet customers, assist with purchases, and operate cash registers.
• Assist in opening and closing the store, and help manage employee scheduling, training, and safety meetings.
• Follow company procedures for receiving, stocking, rotating merchandise, and maintaining visual displays according to planograms.
• Support inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, and managing paperwork.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash handling, and adherence to security procedures.
• Assist in store management during the Store Manager's absence.
