About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus, assisting with employee supervision, merchandise management, and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting customers, and operating cash registers.
• Assist with opening and closing the store, employee scheduling, training, and safety meetings to ensure compliance with policies.
• Manage merchandise including receiving, unpacking, stocking, rotating, and creating displays following planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through damage control, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Support financial integrity by overseeing cashier accountability, cash control, key security, and deposits.
• Perform stocking, cashiering, and other duties to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in store management during the Store Manager's absence, ensuring smooth operations.
