Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager supports the overall store operations with a customer-first focus. Key responsibilities include: providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and assisting with store opening and closing. They help supervise employees, assist in training, scheduling, and safety meetings, and ensure policy compliance. The role involves merchandise management—receiving, stocking, rotating, and maintaining displays according to planograms. They help maintain accurate inventory levels and support financial integrity by managing cash handling, deposits, and security procedures. Additionally, they assist in store presentation, managing damages and markdowns, and perform cashier responsibilities. In the absence of the Store Manager, they help manage daily operations.
