Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager leads front-line associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences and oversees daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, including hiring, training, motivation, and performance management
• Handle cash management and reconciliation
• Control inventory and manage stock levels
• Implement loss prevention measures
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
• Ensure high team productivity and operational efficiency
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing complaints and warranty issues
• Manage work orders and route mobile jobs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in retail or service environments
• Automotive industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Maintain a professional appearance with proper safety gear
