Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager at Psycho Bunny, located at Westfield Valley Fair (onsite), plays a pivotal role in ensuring the store meets its sales, KPIs, and profitability goals. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, they are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, supporting the recruitment and training of team members, and fostering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations to meet key performance indicators and profit and loss expectations.
• Recruit, train, and develop high-performing, results-driven Team Members.
• Communicate and demonstrate Psycho Bunny's core values, attitude, and culture.
• Develop and implement programs, policies, and initiatives to support the store's success.
• Ensure all employees are trained in Retail Standards, including business, operations, and sales/customer service.
• Lead by example and coach team members to provide excellent guest experiences, including product education and handling transactions.
• Engage in career discussions to support team members' growth and development.
• Resolve guest feedback and address emergent issues, including guest escalations and emergency requests.
• Execute Health and Safety Standards and Covid-19 protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Build and maintain supportive relationships with all team members, focusing on their personal and professional development.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a similar retail management role.
