The Assistant Store Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts supports the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the store team in providing excellent customer service.
  2. Supervising customer service levels and executing customer service programs.
  3. Aiding the store manager in staffing the retail sales counter during peak hours.
  4. Assisting in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
  5. Participating in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management.
  6. Maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring proper handling of buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders.
  7. Processing returns and exchanges efficiently, issuing refunds accurately, and managing returned merchandise.
  8. Invoicing merchandise and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  9. Communicating Zipline messages, delegating Image Maker and merchandising tasks, and ensuring team members comply with company policies.
  10. Performing store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, money verification, deposit preparation, security checks, and vehicle locking.
  11. Maintaining the store's building, parking lot, exterior signage, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.

Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premium payments based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Candidates fluent in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
