Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts supports the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the store team in providing excellent customer service.
- Serving as a backup during the Store Manager's absence or when working opposing shifts.
- Assisting the Store Manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
- Hiring new team members and ensuring they are evaluated and selected appropriately.
- Maintaining the store environment, including handling customer returns and exchanges, processing special orders, and managing deliveries.
- Performing store opening and closing duties, such as verifying and securing money, arming/disarming security systems, and securing delivery vehicles.
- Maintaining the store's appearance and equipment, including signage, lighting, computers, and test equipment.

Pay
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
