Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts is responsible for leading the store team in providing excellent customer service and managing the store during the Store Manager's absence or when working opposing shifts. Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
2. Supervising the customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs.
3. Working with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak business hours.
4. Aiding the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and ensuring they stay current on their individual training.
5. Aiding in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
6. Maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.

Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Candidates fluent in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, are encouraged to apply.

Pay

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
