The Assistant Store Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts supports the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the store team in providing excellent customer service.
- Supervising customer service levels and executing customer service programs.
- Aiding the store manager in staffing the retail sales counter during peak times.
- Assisting in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
- Participating in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling interviews, and evaluating candidates.
- Maintaining the store's appearance and operations, including handling special orders, processing returns, and ensuring proper invoicing.
- Performing store opening and closing duties, such as day-end procedures, securing money, and managing security.
- Maintaining the store's facilities, including lighting, equipment, and delivery vehicles.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Additional compensation includes performance-based bonuses and premiums. The position requires:
- Sales Specialist Training
- Assistant Manager Certification
- RSS Certification
- Certified Parts Professional Certification (desired)
- ASE Certification (desired)
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish (highly desired)
