Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts supports the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading the store team in providing excellent customer service.
2. Serving as a backup during the Store Manager's absence or when working opposing shifts.
3. Managing customer service levels and ensuring adequate staffing during peak times.
4. Assisting in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
5. Aiding in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks and evaluating candidates.
6. Maintaining the store environment, including security, lighting, and equipment.
7. Performing store opening and closing duties, such as verifying and securing money, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing deliveries.
8. Handling special orders, processing returns, and managing merchandise.

Pay

The actual hourly rate equals or exceeds the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes performance-based premiums, which may vary based on factors like schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
