The Assistant Store Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts is responsible for leading the store team, supporting the Store Manager, and managing the store during their absence. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the store team in providing excellent customer service.
  2. Serving as a liaison between the store manager and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Assisting in the hiring process, including recruiting, scheduling, interviewing, and evaluating candidates.
  4. Maintaining the store's appearance and operations, including handling customer returns and exchanges, processing special orders, and managing inventory.
  5. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including adherence to the work schedule and proper use of security systems.
  6. Performing store opening and closing duties, such as day-end procedures, deposit verification, and security checks.

Additional compensation includes performance-based bonuses and premiums. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Completed Sales Specialist Training
  • Assistant Manager Certification
  • RSS Certification
  • Certified Parts Professional Certification (desired)
  • ASE Certification (desired)
  • Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish (highly desired)
