Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Aid in the day-to-day operations of a high-volume retail environment, focusing on increasing sales.
• Support the training and development of new Sales Associates.
• Drive the creation of operational process improvements, manage warehouse inventory, track inventory performance, assist with restocking and organizing items, and oversee inventory management.
• Tackle exceptions such as returns, damages, and customer service issues, ensuring inventory is properly stocked and displayed to boost sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting customers, assisting with clothing selection, preparing fitting rooms, processing transactions accurately, and settling accounts at the end of each day.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and communicate customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to the team promptly.
• Show a positive and collaborative demeanor, fostering teamwork especially during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in a high-volume fashion retail setting.
• Strong grasp of sales techniques and customer service best practices.
• Proven ability to lead a team in achieving sales targets.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures.
• An outgoing and enthusiastic personality, capable of initiating customer interactions and identifying shopping needs.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach, willing to take on various tasks.
• High levels of maturity, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Able to build and maintain positive relationships with both coworkers and customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, or a related field, preferred.
