Responsibilities
- Supports the Store Manager in ensuring smooth store operations
- Delivers exceptional customer service
- Maintains merchandising standards
- Adequately adheres to operational procedures
- Drives sales performance
- Supports the Store Manager by mentoring trainee associates
- Achieves sales targets
- Drives business growth
- Supports management of inventory levels
- Processes shipments, handles damages and returns, and manages supplies
- Assists in the recruitment process for store talent
- Trains, staffs, and retains employees
- Supports the Store Manager with all administrative tasks
- Ensures strict adherence to policies and procedures
- Communicates insights and feedback to the Store Manager
- Works closely with the Store Manager and Loss Prevention Team to address internal and external shrink
- Achieves sales targets by training, motivating, mentoring, and offering constructive feedback to the sales team
- Manages cash-handling tasks
- Ensures a clean, safe environment for both associates and customers
Requirements
- Capable in delivering constructive feedback that promotes both recognition and accountability
- Fosters a culture of growth and continuous improvement within the team
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to relocate or manage additional stores based on business needs
- Ability to travel between locations is required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Hospitality or related degrees is preferred
- 1+ years of experience in retail management, with a strong track record of leading teams
