Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Assistant Managers at Andy’s oversee all aspects of the store’s operations and ensure that the facility is clean and well‑maintained. They lead by example to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction while providing high‑quality custard and exceptional service. They also strive to maintain the fun, family‑like, yet professional culture that Andy’s is known for.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and maintain a clean, well‑maintained facility.
• Provide high‑quality custard and exceptional customer service.
• Lead by example, upholding high standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Coach and develop team members through constant feedback.
• Work front‑of‑house shifts, handling guests and staff directly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
• Maintain a fun, family‑like, professional culture.

Requirements

• 1–2 years proven management experience in the food‑service industry or a related leadership role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and full of energy.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Full‑time availability with open schedule, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Solid employment track record with positive references.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 lb independently and safely.
• Occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps.
• Constant use of computer, point‑of‑sale register, and related equipment.
• Frequent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine.
• Constant reaching, turning, and precision work around the fountain area.
• Constant talking and verbal communication.
• Clear vision at near and far distances.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
