Assistant Store Leader

About the role

Assists Store Leader with hiring and training new Team Members. Coordinates the day-to-day workflow of Team Members in the operation; supports team by providing direction. Assists the Store Leader with employment actions, including discipline and termination of Team Members in accordance with company policy. Monitors the store's level of performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions or price discrepancies
• Enforce the proper use of sales pitches with the Team
• Maintain proper cash accountabilities at POS registers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately
• Ability to work various hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to smile and maintain a clean appearance as per the dress and grooming standards
• Ability to assign and delegate tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current Driver's License (not suspended or expired)
• Clean driving record (no major moving violations or serious preventable accidents within the last 3-5 years)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Prolonged periods standing and working on the cash register or related equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Constant motion with physical activities including lifting (0–50 lbs.), bending, reaching, and stooping
• Work outside in a loud environment due to car wash equipment
