Assistant Station Manager

About the role

Assist in daily station operations, supervise staff in the absence of the Station Manager, and ensure safety, security, and customer service standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction, coaching, and motivation to team members during shifts.
• Support safety protocols, handle incidents professionally, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Manage store activities including inventory, cash handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform customer service duties, operate transactional equipment, and maintain cleanliness and food service equipment.
• Assist with administrative tasks and communicate station issues to management.
• Support staff in wage & hour compliance and promote core values of safety, diversity, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English with previous retail, food service, or fuel experience.
• Ability to operate cash registers, computers, and safety equipment.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age requirements vary by location.
• Availability for varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical & Other Requirements

Continuous standing, lifting up to 10 lbs regularly, occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs, and exposure to outdoor conditions and cleaning chemicals.

Benefits

Range of $19.28 - $28.92 per hour, with options for full-time or part-time shifts, health packages, education reimbursement, shift differentials, bonuses, and other programs.
