Assistant Station Manager

About the role

Envirotest, the operating subsidiary of Opus Inspection, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Station Manager at their Annapolis, Maryland inspection facility.

Responsibilities

• Manages the inspection station in line with company technical and financial goals
• Shares accountability for all station operations, including troubleshooting, cash handling, and scheduling rest and meal periods
• Takes on the Station Manager's responsibilities when absent
• Maintains good public relations with the company, employees, and the community
• Aids in opening and closing the facility
• Safeguards customer and employee safety
• Performs other duties as directed by the Station Manager and/or District Manager

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of vehicle emissions testing procedures

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Flex hours Monday-Saturday, 40 hours per week, daytime hours
