About the role

The Adjutant General's Department is seeking Accountants II to support financial operations. The positions are located at El Dorado Correctional Facility in Labette County.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
• Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Support audits and investigations related to financial matters.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Kansas driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
